License Renewal Deadline Biennial based on license expiration date CPE Reporting Period The two-year period prior to license expiration date General Requirement 80 hours, with a minimum of 20 per year Ethics Requirement 4 hours Credit Limitations Maximum self-study allowed: 100% Other State PoliciesCarryover: A maximum of 60 credit hours may be carried from one reporting period to the subsequent reporting period. Carried hours cannot be used to meet the yearly minimum or ethics requirements.

Acceptable Programs of Study: New Hampshire CPE requirements state: a program qualifies if "it is a formal program of learning which contributes to the growth and the professional knowledge and professional competence of an individual licensed.." and they list acceptable subjects and then states "subjects other than those listed shall be acceptable if the applicant can demonstrate that they contribute to his/her professional competence."
