Louisiana CPE Requirements

CPE Information

License Renewal Deadline 12/31 annually
CPE Reporting Period 1/1 to 12/31
General Requirement 80 Hours of CPE biennially 20 Hours of CPE annually
Ethics Requirement 3 hours of Professional Ethics, the contents of which must be pre-approved by the Board.
Other Subject Area Requirements If a CPA performs attest functions, a total of 16 hours in Accounting & Auditing subjects is due biennially with 8 hours of CPE in Accounting and Auditing due per year.
Credit Limitations
  • Maximum of 20 hours per year in Personal Development courses
  • Maximum self-study allowed: 100%
